Biography
Mehmet Uğur Memiş, born in 1969, is a producer and mixing and mastering engineer who has built his career in Ankara. A guitarist, he was drawn into the studio when a friend’s band brought him along to a recording session, and the experience made him determined to learn the craft properly.
He went on to study sound engineering and worked in Ankara studios before opening a studio with a partner in 2006, which he has run ever since.
Much of his work is for artists in Istanbul and abroad, yet he prefers the calmer pace of Ankara, the city where he was born and raised.
