“If you’re searching for an authentic vintage sound, the Motone EQ and Pro versions are incredible tools to have in your audio arsenal. These plugins take inspiration from the rare and iconic equalizer that Motown’s engineers used during the 1960s. Featuring a user-friendly interface and low CPU usage, the Motone EQ Collection can deliver authentic, warm, and punchy tones. It’s the perfect tool for enhancing vocals, drums, bass, keyboards, and other instruments.”
“The Backs EQ Pro is a powerful equalization tool designed for music producers. Its classic 1950s circuits and vintage preamp tones provide a smooth and musical response, making it ideal for subtle tonal adjustments or dramatic sound shaping. Equipped with features such as Mid-Side mode and the NDS, this tool offers wide-range sound-shaping capabilities and punchy bass, all while utilizing low CPU usage. It’s an essential addition to any production workflow.”
“That bundle became one of my most used plugins since I tried them. The authentic sound and the vibes they add to each track are incredible. You will hear immediately that is something else than other plugins – the unique architecture that NoiseAsh using for all of their plugins makes them the closest to the actual hardware, and especially now with the Nuance Deviation technology, you can get non-linear and authentic difference sounds – exactly when using a console.”
“The second I tried the Rule Tec collection, I felt that that has something else that I can’t find on other plugins. The warm vibes and the musical EQ curves from the hardware translate perfectly… Rule Tec will be perfect for any audio channel, busses, and mastering.”
“The Backs EQ is a powerful equalization tool that offers the same classic 1950s circuits and vintage preamp tones as its big brother. However, it comes with a simplified interface that is easy to use. Being user-friendly, lightweight, and offering a smooth and musical response, the Backs EQ Lite is definitely worth considering.”
“I remembered when I heard for the first time the hardware, and I wished that I could find it in a plugin, and here it is. This eq strip has unique color and feeling, and I love the results, specifically on vocals and guitars.”
“Get the exact famous 84 sound from this plugin. That is one of the best emulations for the 84 channel strip I ever tried. The combination of vintage sounds and extra features makes it a powerful tool. I’m specifically like the M/S option that I found to be very useful.”
“The eq section is incredible – so versatile and musically. It doesn’t matter how far you crank the eq level knobs, and it always sounds pleased and gentle.”
“When it comes to the 73, you can’t get wrong. I found the Need 73 fit for anything. The eq section works well for everything. it’s easy to hear the unique color when adding gain for extra character.”
“When I want to have the feeling and work vibes of an actual vintage console, Need has always served me well. The preamp section is where you will get the magic from. I love to push the drive knob to get richer harmonics, drive, and color to my tracks. The eq section emulates the hardware perfectly, with those selective frequencies that I always found that it is easy to get great results.”
“As a producer, I like to add some colors to the sound from the recording sessions. Not always, I have the chance to choose between outboard preamps, so when I’m adding the Need preamps to each track, I can immediately hear the energy that comes from it and put me in a great starting point to the next steps in the production.”
